Services
I offer individual therapy for youth 16+ and adults. I provide therapy for issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, adjustment to life transitions, family of origin issues, relationship concerns, grief, self-esteem, parenting concerns and issues related to school.

I consider myself a process-oriented therapist that focuses on what comes up in sessions to guide us in exploring issues from the past and present. The primary approaches of my therapeutic style are building strong therapeutic relationships, finding themes and core beliefs that may be sending false alarms in order to keep you safe, attachment theory and strengths-based therapy. I also believe strongly in laughter and celebrating with my clients as they grow more confident in themselves.

I am an LGBTQIA+ friendly therapist.
I am also trained in EMDR, a therapeutic modality that is helpful for individuals with a history of trauma or adverse life experiences. You can read more about EMDR at https://www.emdria.org/about-emdr-therapy/
Adolescent Therapy (ages 16+)
I have worked with children and youth for 15 years. I utilize a combination of approaches that vary depending on age, personality, and the agreed upon goals of therapy. Examples of approaches include strong therapeutic relationship building, skills to manage emotions, perspective taking/empathy building, and a strong focus on strengths.

Parent involvement in the therapy process is also client specific. Parents are always welcome and encouraged to share concerns with me and I will provide feedback to the best of my ability within the confines of confidentiality (I believe kids deserve this too).
Adult Therapy (ages 18+)
In therapy sessions, we’ll work to solve current problems and unresolved issues that may be impacting your mental and physical health. My goal is to help you discover your strengths, feel seen and understood, consider new perspectives, develop skills, and heal old wounds.
