About Me

I graduated in 2002 from the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana with a Master's degree in Social Work. After graduation I spent several years working with children and youth before moving to Iowa. Once in the Iowa City area, I continued my work with children and teens through United Action for Youth and the Iowa City School District, later expanding to work with adults at New Leaf Counseling in Coralville. In 2019, I decided to take the leap to go out on my own and opened Teja Huntley Therapy Services. I am excited to be in Iowa City providing services in a community I love.

My goal as your therapist is to provide a safe and non-judgmental environment for you or your child to explore issues and work towards the goals that brought you to therapy.  

In my personal life I enjoy listening to music, going on spontaneous trips, laughing with friends, spending time with my family, and cuddling my very cute animals.
